Imperial History of the Middle East - Animated Map

This animated map illustrates the history of the Middle East from 1,450 BC to present day. With colorful animation, the map shows how seventeen different groups controlled the region including Egyptians, Turks, Jews, Romans, Arabs, Persians, Europeans, and more. This is an excellent way to visualize the changing nature of this region throughout history.
